Connection profiles
Every NoxRouteNeo device still uses VLESS + XHTTP + REALITY. Profiles change a
small, tested set of client transport parameters; they are not separate VPN
protocols.
| Profile | XHTTP behavior | Intended use | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
Fast |
stream-one, lowest overhead |
Stable home or mobile networks | Least request variation |
Balanced |
Default XHTTP behavior | Recommended starting point | Middle ground |
Stealth |
packet-up and device-specific path variation |
Networks where the default profile is unreliable | More overhead and potentially higher latency |
Changing a profile regenerates the device subscription response. Refresh the subscription in the VPN client, disconnect and reconnect before evaluating the result.
What profiles do not do
Section titled “What profiles do not do”- They do not change the VPS exit address.
- They do not guarantee that a network cannot classify or block the connection.
- They do not provide measurable levels of anonymity.
- They do not make the client invisible to browser fingerprinting, account logins or cookies.
Start with Balanced. Use Fast when minimizing overhead matters and Stealth
only when testing whether its different XHTTP behavior improves reliability on a
specific network.
